The 2019 Giro d’Italia otherwise known as the Tour of Italy is about to begin and the world’s top cyclists will compete in a grueling 21 stage race that will cover a total of 3,578.8 kilometres as they journey towards the grand finale at the alluring city of Verona, each hoping to wear the renowned pink jersey at the end. Having been founded in 1909, this year will also mark the 102nd edition of the race which will be starting off in Bologna, Italy.
Individual time trials will commence on 11th of May, with the mass-start action taking place the next day on the 12th of May. Live coverage will be available through Eurosport (U.K and Pan Europe), FuboTV and FloBikes (U.S and Canada), L’Equipe (France), RaiPlay (Italy), Sky Sport (New Zealand), and SuperSport (South Africa).
