Update: 4 June 2018, Monday
It’s been a while since we’ve seen the words ‘Emphatic victory‘ used in conjunction with the England cricket team, but putting Pakistan to bed with an innings and 55 runs, is just that. An amazing turn around, to draw the series in Headingly after being trampled under foot in Lords five days earlier, but it leaves grave worries about their consistency.
Next up, India at Edgbaston on the 1st August.
Update: 28 May 2018, Monday
Pakistan crush sorry England by nine wickets in first Test, oh dear, oh dear, where did it go so wrong? England went into the five day test as comfortable favourites only to be whupped, barely making it to the fourth day.
They’ve got four days to try and get their house in order before facing Pakistan in Headingly this Friday. Coverage starts from 10.00GMT with the TMS team as usual. If you’re looking for a free video stream, SonyLIV would be our recommended choice.
After warming up against the inaugural Ireland XI earlier in the week, Pakistan head to Lords for their first real challenge of the tour. Having drawn against Kent at the start of the month, they then comfortably beat Northamptonshire and Ireland. Hopefully, England will put up more of a fight and you would expect a comfortable win, with the bookies having them at 1-2 favourites.
Aggers and the TMS team will be live from the MCC at 11.00 BST on Thursday the 24th May.
Live coverage will be available through BBC Radio (UK), BT Sport (UK), Sky Sports (UK), SonyLIV (India), and SuperSport (South Africa). Here are the match coverage breakdown for the different countries:
