On your Xbox 360 home screen, scroll right all the way to the Settings tab and click on System.
Click on Network Settings.
Select your network connection, Wired or Wireless. In this screenshot, we selected Wireless.
You should be in the Network Settings page. Click on Configure Network.
In the Basic Settings tab, scroll down until you see DNS Settings.
If the listed Primary DNS server is the same as Gateway written on top of it, then your DNS setting is most likely set to Automatic.
