We’ve noticed that a number of devices on the market require 3 digits per octet in the DNS entry slot.
Meaning to say the DNS actually shows the following string of numbers:
000.000.000.000
Unlike the string above, our DNS numbers appear similiar to the one below:
212.25.3.251
In cases like this, please enter the DNS address as shown in the example below:
212.025.003.251
As shown in the example above, simply add any additional 0 in front of the necessary number.
Please note that the additional 0 will always be in front of the number that does not fit your devices’ DNS entry requirement.
