Update: 31 December 2018, Monday
There we have it folks. New Zealand has crushed Sri Lanka in the last test by 423 runs (the largest test win in Black Caps history).
Sri Lanka battled to a rain-affected draw in the first test after the Black Caps were unable to break an epic stand by Kusal Mendis and Angelo Mathews. We now head to Christchurch for the second test starting from 26 December @ 10:30NZDT.
Fresh off a high performance in the UAE, breakthrough spinner Ajaz Patel looks likely to bowl his first test on home soil. On the other side of the aisle, Sri Lanka was dealt a serious blow after the ICC found mystery spinner, Akila Dananjaya’s bowling action to be illegal and have suspended him with immediate effect.
The two match Test series kicks off Saturday, December 15 and run’s through to the 30th of December, 2018.
Live coverage will be available through Fox Sports (Australia), SonyLIV and HotStar (India), Sky Sport (New Zealand), and SuperSport (South Africa). Here are the match coverage breakdown for the different countries:
